“We tell ourselves stories in order to live.”
— Joan Didion, The White Album
In life, we tell stories about who we are, what matters to us, what we fear and what we most want…
But what if, for some reason, that story stops making sense?
What if we feel like we are no longer the authors of our lifestories?
Do you feel the tension inside but find hard to put to words?
Do you look around and realise that your life doesn’t look like you thought it would by now?
Or that it does, but you simply don’t feel content or fulfilled?
I am someone who used to be terrified of change and, being the study-nut that I am, I did what I could do feel like I had some control over it. I went and studied psychology, I did my masters and doctorate, and a whole lot of other trainings, readings, learnings.
All of this because I wanted to understand what change really is. What are we supposed to do with this strong sense of longing, or anger, or fear that we carry inside when happiness in life seems so unatainable?
In our space, I would like to learn to see the world through your eyes, and use the tools that I have picked up along the way to help you.
The main approaches I use are:
– schema therapy,
– imagery-guided and story telling techniques
– hypnotherapy.
You can learn more about my research and the theory behing the work in my blog.

Why should we have it all figured out?
Life is inherently about change and transformation, so if you feel lost and confused, perhaps you are seeing things clearly!

For a long time I thought I would grow up to work in theatre. I always loved reading and writing my own stories, and I was a part of a theatre group for most of my young life.
I was born in the beautiful Madeira Island, Portugal.
Perhaps because of this early connection, I will always love the ocean and feel drawn to it.
At the same time, it was in the cards for me to know different realities up close. I set off to study abroad, and then met my husband who is from South America, and later moved to the south of Germany, where I started to work with clients coming from all parts of the world and collaborating with colleagues from all sorts of cultures.
I am very, very fortunate to do what I love and there is not a single client that doesn’t make a significant impact on my life’s narrative, the same as I hope to make in theirs.
